Junior Bobby Ayers shot a 2-over 38 to earn medalist honors in 30 mph winds at Grundy Center Thursday, April 15th in a triangular against Union and Eldora-New Providence.

Grundy Center topped Union and Eldora with a mark of 163. Union finished second with a 175 while Eldora was third at 183. Grant Stevens earned runner-up medalist honors with a 40, and Taylor Schupbach posted a round of 41. Michael Henley, Zach Swalley, and Michael Dorothy all recorded 44’s.

Head Coach Dennis Dirks had these comments, ”We really scored well under adverse weather conditions. In the last 10 days we’ve had three meets and a different team medalist for each meet. Bobby, Grant, and Taylor are playing great golf at the present time.”
