Grant Stevens shot a 1-under 35 to earn medalist honors Monday, April 19th in a triangular against NU High and Hudson at Pheasant Ridge.

The Spartans toped both teams with a team score of 155. NU High finished a distant second at 172 and Hudson came in third at 178.

Taylor Schupbach and Bobby Ayers shared runner-up medalist honors along with Blake Hibben from NU High as all three carded a 39. Zach Swalley rounded out the Spartan scoring with a 42.Michael Henely was junior varsity medalist carding a 38. Sophomore David Frisch won runner-up honors with a 43.

Head Coach Dennis Dirks had these comments, ”The score of 155 on the Pheasant Ridge course this early in the season is an outstanding score particularly knowing the quality of the competition. NU High and Hudson year in and year out are two of the strongest teams on our schedule. Both finished 5th in their respective classes in last years state tournament.”
