The Grundy Center boy’s golf team broke the school record with a team score of 147 at Radcliffe on Thursday, April 29th. The 2001 team set the previous mark 148 at Traer.

Led by medalist Bobby Ayers’ 36 the Spartans toppled H-R 147-167. Grant Stevens, Michael Henely, and Zach Swalley all posted 37’s rounding out the team scoring. Brett Speirs and David Frisch tied for junior-varsity medalist honors with 42’s. “Our team finds the Radcliffe course to there liking, we’ve posted some great score there the last couple of years,” said Coach Dirks.
